Gas cylinder explosion in Mithamoin: Another dies

Another burn victim in a gas cylinder explosion in Mithamoin upazila of Kishoreganj has died while undergoing treatment at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka.

Parvin, 15, daughter of Abdul Ali at Hazipur village under Katkhal union, died on Saturday morning.

Parvin’s uncle Moktar Hossain confirmed the news.

Earlier on October 25, Sepahi Nesa Khatun, 62, died while undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) of the institute.

At least nine people, including eight of a family, suffered burn injuries in a gas cylinder explosion in Mithamoin upazila of Kishoreganj.

Six of them are still receiving treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery
