Deal on coronavirus vaccine in 2 to 4 days: Health Minister

Health Minister Zahid Maleque said, “Coronavirus infection is likely to increase during the winter. We have contacted those who are making the vaccines. The agreement will be signed in two to four days. We have to be patient for a while. The coronavirus has not yet left the country.”

The Minister said this while distributing foodstuff and health protection materials among coronavirus pandemic-hit people in Garpara area of Manikganj Sadar on Saturday (October 31).

The materials were distributed at the initiative of the District Red Crescent Society.

Health Minister said, “The coronavirus death rate is much lower in our country. Around 2.25 lakh people have died of coronavirus in America. We do not want a single more death. We are much better. We have to work according to health guidelines.”
