RAB arrests man who threatened to kill Shakib

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested the man who threatened to kill ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan during a Facebook live video on November 15.
He was arrested around 11.30am on Tuesday from Dabar point area of South Sunamganj Upazila.
ASP of RAB-9 Mohammad Abdullah confirmed the news to risingbd.
The arrestee is Mohsin Talukder, son of Azad Baksh Talukder of Shahpur Talukderpara under Sylhet Sadar Upazila.
He made the threat in Facebook Live on Sunday (November 15) midnight to kill Shakib Al Hasan for inaugurating Kali Puja in West Bengal.
He said, “He will slaughter Shakib with a machete.”
He also scolded Shakib with vulgar language live from his Facebook ID ‘Mohsin Talukdar’.
He also mentioned that he is ready to visit Dhaka on foot if necessary to kill Shakib.
However, he came back live at 6:04 on Monday (November 16) morning and apologised for the previous live. He also expressed regret for his manner, but urged Shakib to apologise to the nation.
