The viscera report in the much-talked Raihan murder case has been released.
According to the viscera report, Raihan Ahmed, who was beaten to death in Sylhet’s Bandar Bazar police outpost, died due to severe injuries.
Sylhet’s PBI police super Muhammad Khaled-uz-Jaman confirmed the matter on Sunday (November 29).
Dr Shamsul Islam, Chief of Forensic Department at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, said, “We received the viscera report of the first autopsy on November 26 that shows that Raihan died due severe injuries caused by hitting. The report was submitted to the investigation officer of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI).”
Earlier, on October 11, Raihan, 34, a resident of Akharia in Sylhet city, was beaten to death in police custody.
