One Rohingya killed, 10 injured in clash in Teknaf

One Rohingya man was killed and at least 10 others were injured in a clash between two groups over establishing supremacy in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Sunday (January 10).
The deceased was known as Nur Hakim, 27, son of Hossain Ali.
The clash took place around 3:00am at Rohingya camp-21 in Chakmarkul of Whykong union under the upazila.
Cox’s Bazar Armed Police Battalion (APBN)-16 commander SP Md Tariqul Islam said that a gunfight took place between two groups of Rohingyas locked into clash early today.
On information, the law enforcers rushed to spot and recovered a body-hit body. Later, inured others were sent to local clinics, he added.
