Fire at Gazipur leaves four dead

An incident of fire at a house in Kaliakoir of Gazipur has left four people dead, injuring others, police said.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The fire broke out in Purbapara Nabbai Colony early morning on Monday (January 11).

Later, three fire units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control. Meanwhile, around 50 shanties were gutted.

Kaliakoir police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Shafiqul Islam confirmed the matter.
