Paturia-Daulatdia ferry service resumes

The ferry services on Paturia-Daulatia river route resumed this morning after eight and a half hours of disruption due to heavy fog.

Md Salam Hossain, Aricha office manager of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC), confirmed the matter around 10:30 am on Sunday (January 17).

Earlier, the ferry services on the route remained suspended from 1:30 am on Sunday due to thick fog.
