Walton Director Mahbub Alam Mridul laid to rest

Mahbub Alam Mridul, a director of Walton Group, has been laid to eternal rest.

He was buried at family graveyard at Gosai Joair village under sadar upazila in Tangail on Friday (January 22) noon.

Earlier, his namaz-e-janaza was held at Gosai Joair Azim Memorial High School ground after Juma prayers. A large number of people attended the janaza.

The government administration, politicians and social organizations have expressed their condolences at the demise of this Walton Group director and condolences to his family members.

Tangail Sadar constituency MP Sanowar Hossain, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr Ataul Gani, Walton Group Chairman SM Nurul Alam Rezvi, Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd Vice Chairman SM Shamsul Alam, Walton Group Managing Director Engineer Golam Murshed, Director SM Rezaul Alam Shamim, Walton Corporation Managing Director SM Mahbubul Alam, Walton Group Executive Director SM Zahid Hasan, Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Shahjahan Ansari, former Chairman Khorshed Alam and people from all walks of life attended the janaza.

Mahbub Alam Mridul died of cardiac arrest in a private hospital in the capital around 6:23 pm on Thursday (January 21). He was 23.

Mahbub Alam Mridul was born on January 25, 1997 to an aristocratic Muslim family at Gosai Joair village under sadar upazila in Tangail.  His father SM Shamsul Alam is Vice-Chairman of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd.
