Shutdown in Companiganj withdrawn after Obaidul Quader instructs

The shutdown called by Companiganj Upazila Awami League in the upazila on Sunday (January 24) has been withdrawn after the party general secretary Obaidul Quader issued instruction in this regard.
Upazila Awami League President Khijir Hayat Khan confirmed the information around 6:30 pm on Saturday (January 23).
He said, “The shutdown was withdrawn after Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader instructed over it.”
Quoting Obaidul Quader, he said, “All demands of Companiganj Upazila Awami League is currently at the office of Prime Minister. The decision over the matter would be taken later.”
Mentionable, Noakhali District Awami League General Secretary and Member of Parliament Ekramul Karim Chowdhury termed central Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader as a member of Rajakar family. Protesting the statement, Companiganj Upazila Awami League called shutdown in the upazila from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm on Sunday (January 24).
