Statement change: ACC files case against OC

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against Sakil Uddin Ahmed, 48, former Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Puthia Police Station of Rajshahi for changing case statement.
Md Al-Amin, assistant director of combined Rajshahi District ACC Office, filed the case on Sunday (January 24).
Inspector Shakil Uddin Ahmed is currently attached to the office of the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Sylhet Range of Police. His village home is in Shibganj of Chapainawabganj.
He is brother of Dr Samil Uddin Ahmed Shimul, lawmaker of Chapainawabganj-1 (Shibganj) constituency. OC Sakil was suspended and attached to the Sylhet Range after the matter of changing case statement was revealed.
