Shahed Beg murder in Madaripur: Two to die

Two people have been awarded with death penalty for killing Shahed Beg at Rajoir upazila in Madaripur.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Lailatul Ferdous handed down the verdict on Wednesday noon.

The court has also fined them Tk 50,000 each.

The convicts are Yousuf Ali Munsi, son of Selim Munsi at Haridasdi-Mahendrodi union of the upazila.

Shahed Beg went missing on the night of November 29, 2012. Later, his body was recovered from a canal of the upazila.
