Number of Coronavirus cases in SBMC drops to zero

The number of Coronavirus infected patient has dropped to zero at Coronavirus unit of Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Hospital (SBMC) in Barishal.

Khaleda Begum, hailed from Mathbaria upazila, the last coronavirus patient, got release from the hospital on Thursday (January 28).

Aiming to provide treatment to the coronavirus patients, the unit started its operations on March 17, 2020. However, the first patient was admitted to the unit on April 8.

A total of 136 Coronavirus patients died in the ward, while 817 people recovered after getting treatment there.
