Barishal University students block road

Barisal University (BU) students have blocked the Dhaka-Barisal-Kuakata Highway in protest against the attack of bus workers on 11 students of a mess at midnight.

On Wednesday (February 18) morning, students began the protest blocking the highway in front of the university.

Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Model Thana (OC, investigation) Md Asaduzzaman confirmed the news.

The OC said on Tuesday midnight, bus workers attacked 11 students at a university mess in Rupatali Housing area. The injured students have been admitted to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.
