Journalist Muzakkir killing case transferred to PBI

The case filed over the killing of journalist Burhan Uddin Muzakkir has been handed over to Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI).

Noakhali's Superintendent of Police (SP) Md Alamgir Hossain confirmed the handover of the case to the PBI around 9:00 pm on Tuesday (February 23).

PBI got the charge to investigate into the case at the direction of Police Headquarters.

Earlier, around 11: 00 am, Muzakkir’s father Noab Ali Master filed the case with Companiganj Police Station in this connection.

Mizanur Rahman Munshi, superintendent of Noakhali PBI, said, “After getting the charge for investigation, a team led by Inspector Mostafiz visited the spot this afternoon.”
