Begum Rokeya University VC Kalimullah declared unwanted

Prof Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, the vice-chancellor of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, was declared unwanted.
Bangabandhu Parishad, the teachers’ organization of the varsity made the announcement on Thursday (March 4) for providing false information regarding University Grants Commission (UGC) committee report and education minister.
In a press conference at the second administration building of the university around 2:30pm, Bangabandhu Parishad general secretary and mathematics department assistant professor Mashiur Rahman came up with the declaration.
Meanwhile, the leaders of the organization urged vice-chancellor Prof Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah to seek an apology for the falsehood.
Mashiur Rahman said, the after staying absent on campus, the VC made a record and violated the direction of the Hon'ble President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh & Hon'ble Chancellor. Since his appointment, the vice-chancellor has been absent on campus for 1119 days of the total 1356 working days thus far.
