25-km tailback on Bangabandhu Bridge highway

A 25-kilometer tailback was seen on Dhaka-Tangail-Bangabandhu Bridge Highway in Tangail on Monday morning.

Bangabandhu Bridge East police station OC Kazi Aiyubur Rahman confirmed the matter.

The Tailback was seen from Bangabandhu Bridge east side to Elenga and west side’s connecting road to Nalka of Sirajganj.

Bridge authority said that the tailback was created on Sunday evening and the pressure of vehicles started increasing gradually.

OC Kazi Aiyubur Rahman said, the tailback was created due to random moves of vehicles crossing lane. Passenger suffering mounted following the traffic congestion.
