Tangail road crash kills 5

At least five people were killed and five others injured in a road accident at Mirzapur in Tangail early Wednesday.

The accident took place at Pakulla bus stand of Dhaka-Tangail Highway.

Officer-in-Charge of Gorai Highway Thana Mohammad Mofazzal Hossain confirmed the news.

Mofazzal Hossain said a Dhaka-bound microbus hit a covered van standing there, leaving three passengers of the microbus dead on the spot and seven injured. Later, two died at hospital.
