148 new Covid-19 cases reported in Khulna

A total of 148 people have been found to be positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) in a day following their sample tests at the PCR lab of Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH).

Dr Suhas Ranjan Haldar, resident medical officer of the hospital, confirmed the information on Monday (June 14).

148 out of 374 people whose sample tests were carried out in the last 24 hours were found positive for Covid-19, Suhas Ranjan said.

Coronavirus detection rate was 39.57 percent as per the tests carried out yesterday in Khulna, he said.
