Chattogram reports highest single-day 18 Covid-19 deaths

A record 18 people died of coronavirus (Covid-19) infections in Chattogram Metropolitan city and different upazilas of Chattogram district in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths in the port city to 915.

Besides, some 3,389 people were tested for coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Of them, a total of 1,310 people tested positive for the virus, raising the total number of infected cases to 77,521.

Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi confirmed the information.
