13 more die of Covid-19, symptoms at RMCH

13 more people have died from coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and coronavirus-like symptoms while undergoing treatment at the corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).

Confirming the matter this morning, RMCH Director Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani said the deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Thursday (July 29) to 8:00am today, Friday (July 30).

Of the 13 deaths, seven people died of Covid-19 infections, one was Covid-19 negative and the rest five died of symptoms similar to that of coronavirus.

Of the dead, six were in Rajshahi district, three in Naogaon, three in Natore and one in Chapainawabganj, he added.

With them, the number of Covid-19 deaths in the hospital rose to 512 in 30 days of this month.

A total of 354 people died at the corona unit of the hospital in the month of June.
