13 more die of Covid-19, symptoms at RMCH

13 more people have died from coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and coronavirus-like symptoms while undergoing treatment at the corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).

Confirming the matter this morning, RMCH Director Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani said the deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Friday (July 30) to 8:00am today, Saturday (July 31).

Of the 13 deaths, five people died of Covid-19 infections, and the rest eight died of symptoms similar to that of coronavirus.

Of the dead, three were in Rajshahi district, five in Pabna, three in Naogaon, one in Natore and one in Chapainawabganj, he added.

With them, the number of Covid-19 deaths in the hospital rose to 525 in 31 days of this month.

A total of 354 people died at the corona unit of the hospital in the month of June.
