RMG workers block Sreepur highway

Workers from various garment factories blocked Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at Sreepur upazila in Gaipur on Monday morning in protest against fare hike and lack of adequate public transport on the roads.

The blockade created congestion in both sides, adding to the woes of commuters.

Mauna Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge Kamal Hossain confirmed the news.
