22 more die at Mymensingh hospital Covid unit

A total of 22 people have died from coronavirus and coronavirus-like symptoms at the Covid-19 unit of Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) in the past 24 hours.

The deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Tuesday (August 03) to 8:00am today, Wednesday (August 04).

Dr Mohiuddin Khan Moon, focal person of the Covid unit, confirmed the news.

Besides, some 380 people tested positive for the virus over the same period, he said.

Among the deaths, ten people died of coronavirus infections while the remaining 12 died of coronavirus-like symptoms, he added.
