21 more die at Mymensingh hospital Covid unit

A total of 21 people have died from coronavirus and coronavirus-like symptoms at the Covid-19 unit of Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) in the past 24 hours.

The deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Wednesday (August 04) to 8:00am today, Thursday (August 05).

Dr Mohiuddin Khan Moon, focal person of the Covid unit, confirmed the news.

Besides, some 316 people tested positive for the virus over the same period, he said.

Among the deaths, six people died of coronavirus infections while the remaining 15 died of coronavirus-like symptoms, he added.
