Fire breaks out at godown of Singer showroom in Savar

A fire broke out at a warehouse of a Singer showroom at Savar’s Rajfulbaria on Thursday (August 05) morning.

The fire originated at the godown around 8:45 am.

Being informed, eight firefighting units rushed to the spot to douse the fire, said Jahangir Alam, senior station officer at the Dhaka Export Processing Zone (DEPZ) Fire Service and Civil Defence.
