19 die of coronavirus in a day in Manikganj

A total of 16 people have died from coronavirus and coronavirus-like symptoms in the Covid unit of Manikganj Zila Hospital in the last 24 hours.

Among the deaths, five died of coronavirus infections while the rest 11 died of coronavirus-like symptoms. Another three died of Covid-19 in the district.

The deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Thursday (August 4) to 8:00am today (August 5).

Resident Medical Officer of Manikganj District Hospital Dr AKM Kazi Russel and Medical Officer of Civil Surgeon Office Dr. Rafikunnahar Bannay confirmed the news.

Besides, at least 124 people have tested positive for the Covid-19 over the same period.
