‘Vaccination to school students to launch within two weeks’

Health Minister Zahid Maleque has said that vaccination to school students aged 12 to 17 years will launch within next two weeks. The government has already started works on this.
The Minister said this in a view exchange meeting at Manikganj municipality building Saturday (September 18) noon.
He said, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has issued directives to provide vaccine of coronavirus to the students aged 12 to 17 years. The arrangement is being made to manage Pfizer vaccine for them soon.”
Zahid Maleque said, “The United States had red-listed 8 countries of the world including Bangladesh, now it has removed the name of our country from that list.”
He said, “We have already given vaccine jabs to 2.5 crore people so far. We have also reached an agreement with the World Health Organisation (WHO) for more 10 crore vaccine jabs. Somalia PM has lost the power as he failed to control the coronavirus situation. The situation of the head of the Thai government is also deplorable. Our economy is still active because the coronavirus situation is under control here.
