Three college students test coronavirus positive in Chandpur

Three students of Dr Mansuruddin Womens’ College in Hasimpur under Kochua upazila in Chandpur have tested positive for coronavirus.
College’s principal Md Shahidul Islam confirmed the matter.
According to Kochua Upazila Health Complex, samples of 50 students of the college were collected on September 20. Three of them were reported positive on Wednesday (September 22).
Principal Md Shahidul Islam said, “We on Wednesday received reports of three students who have been contracting with coronavirus. Their guardians were informed the matter. Home isolation for the Covid infected students has been ensured.”
He said, “Samples of 50 students who are keen to reside in the college dormitory were tested. Of them, 47 were reported negative, but three were found positive.”
He further said, “There is nothing to be worried as three students have been reported to have Covid infections. Students allowed to enter the college premises after checking up temperature every day. If someone is found with high temperature, she is tested for Covid infection. Classes are going through maintain health guidelines.”
