Sheikh Hasina’s UNGA address fascinates me, says US ambassador

US Ambassador to Bangladesh Earl Robert Miller has said that the address delivered by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the 76th UN General Assembly (UNGA) has fascinated him.
He made the remarks while inaugurating and visiting a training center for doctors and nurses and a TB treatment center at Cumilla Medical College Hospital on Saturday (September 25).
US Ambassador thanked PM Sheikh Hasina for highlighting important issues such as climate change, post-Covid-19 economic recovery, food security, equality and sustainable development in her speech.
He also remarked that Bangladesh government is leading among the South Asian countries in controlling Covid-19.
Cumilla Medical College and Hospital’s director Dr Mohiuddin Bhuiyan and deputy director Sajeda Khatun were present at that time.
Dr Mohiddun said, “US Ambassador visited the Covid-19 activities of the hospital. He also visited various departments of the hospital and appreciated the activities of it.”
