Section 144 imposed in Chowmuhani

Fearing deterioration of law and order, the administration of Begumganj upazila has imposed Section 144 in Chowmuhani municipality, banning meetings and public gatherings.

Section 144 will remain in force from 6am to 6pm on Saturday (October 16).

A notification signed by Begumganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) also executive magistrate Shamsun Nahar confirmed the matter around 9:00pm on Friday (October 15).
