MSS opens its 146th MSE branch in Bogura

Manabik Shahajya Sangstha (MSS) inaugurated its 146th branch which will cater to the needs of Micro and Small Enterprise (MSE) in Sadar upazila of Bogura district on Monday (October 18).

The organization sent a press release regarding the inaugural ceremony of its branch to the media.

MSS President Feroz M. Hassan was the chief guest at the inaugural function while Advisor of the organization Tarikul Ghani was present as the special guest.

Munawar Reza Khan, Executive Director of MSS, presided over the function. Besides, officials of various levels of the organization and local dignitaries were also present on the occasion.

Speaking as the chief guest, MSS President Feroz M. Hassan said, “Poverty rate has increased in the country due to the direct impact of Covid-19. Increasing unemployment and poverty, especially in some areas, have significantly deterred the country’s socio-economic development.”

He added, “The main objective of MSE activities is to increase the economic growth of the region and alleviate poverty by expanding various initiatives of small entrepreneurs in the Bogura region and creating employment opportunities on a regular basis.”

Tarikul Ghani, Adviser of the organization, said, “With the objective of creating employment and alleviating poverty by providing necessary funding to various emerging and potential small entrepreneurs in different districts of the country, MSS is carrying out MSE loan activities which will be expanded across Bangladesh.”

Executive Director of MSS, Munawar Reza Khan said, “MSS is investing in food security, employment, poverty alleviation, maximum utilization of human resources and creating market connectivity. This activity will be conducted with emphasis on business expansion and entrepreneurial development in the region through the Bogura branch.”
