Explosion at Narayanganj steel mill: 5 suffer burn injuries

At least five workers were burnt after they came in contact with molten metal during an explosion at a steel mill in Rosupur under Fatullah upazila in Narayanganj.

The incident took place on Monday noon (October 25).

The injured are- Sohel Rana, 36, Liton, 35, Arif, 27, Billal Hossain, 35 and Mohammad Ali, 26.

Inspector Rafikuzzaman of Fatullah police station said, on information, police forces were sent to the spot. Details can be disclosed later.

Narayanganj fire service and civil defense Deputy Assistant Director Abdullah Al Arefin confirmed the matter.
