Four more arrested over six-murder in Rohinyga camp

Armed Police Battalion (APBn) has arrested four more people over the six-murder at a madrasa in a Rohingya camp of Ukhia in Cox’s Bazar.

SP Shihab Kaisar Khan, captain of APBn-8, confirmed the matter on Tuesday (October 26).

The arrestees were known as Shafiul Alam, Md Hasim, Farid and Zahed Hossain.

A group of armed miscreants carried out attack on Nadwatul Ulama Al Islamiya Madrasa of Ukhia Camp-18 on early October 22, leaving three killed on the spot while three others in the hospital later.

A case was filed against 25 and 250 unknown people over the incident on October 24. Some 14 people have been arrested so far including five mentioned in the case statement.
