25 Rohingyas held while fleeing Bhasan Char

At least 25 Rohingyas were detained while they were attempting to flee Bhasan Char in Hatiya upazila of Noakhali on Thursday (October 28).
The detainees are- Rashid Ullah, 25, Anwara, 22, Md Amin, 3, 10-months-old Md Syed Amin, Sefayet Ullah, 30, Hasina Begum, 26, Md Nayon, 12, Jannatul Ferdous, 8, Sumaiya, 5, Nur Mohammad, 20, Khaleda, 18, 6-month-old Md. Ilias, Md. Zobayer, 20, Fatema, 19, Sadia, 4, Jabed, 1, Ekram Ullah, 30, Fatema, 25, Rahmat, 4, Asma, 2, Ayesha Begum, 25, Parvin Akter, 9, Hasan, 4, Umme Kulsum, 20, Fatema Khatun, 50.
Sources said, locals of Subarna Char of the district caught the Rohingyas first from Mohammadpur union.
Confirming the matter, Char zabbar police station inspector (probe) SM Mizanur Rahman said, the detained will be sent to Bhashan Char soon.
