BCL leader killed in Lakshmipur UP election violence

A leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has been killed in a clash during the third phase of Union Parishad election at Ramganj in Lakshmipur.
The deceased Sajjadur Rahman Sajib (25) was the president of Isapur union unit of Chhatra League and son of late Abdus Sattar at Noyonpur village.
According to locals and police, the supporters of Awami League and its rebel candidate locked into a clash at Narayanpur Government Primary School polling centre on Sunday afternoon.
Seriously injured Sajib was taken to a hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.
Lakshmipur Police Super Dr. A H Kamruzzaman confirmed the news.
