Fire at Ukhia Rohingya camp

A fire has broken out at Shafiullah Kata Rohingya camp no 16 in Ukhia of Cox’s Bazar. However, no casualties have yet been reported in the incident.

Superintendent of Police (SP) of 14 Armed Police Battalion (APBn) Naimul Haque confirmed the matter on Sunday (January 09) afternoon.

He said, “The fire ensued around 4:30 pm. However, reasons of the fire could not be known immediately. Attempt continues to douse the blaze.”
