OC hospitalized as he goes in operation to arrest accused

Alamgir Kabir, Officer-in-Charge (OC-Investigation) of Bahubal Model Police Station in Habiganj, has been hospitalized as he got fractured in his leg.

He has been sent to Police Headquarters Hospital in Dhaka.

Rokibul Islam Khan, Officer-in-Charge of Babubal Model Police Station, confirmed the matter on Saturday (January 16) evening.

He said, “Saheb Ali, son of Yakub Ullah of Mirpur Titarkona village under the upazila is a fugitive accused in a case filed under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act. He had been in hiding for long days.”

A team of police led by Alamgir Kabir conducted a drive in the village to arrest Saheb Ali. Police chased after him as the accused tried to flee. Then Alamgir slipped and got broken the leg.

He was rushed to Bahubal Upazila Health Complex immediately. Later, he was sent to Police Headquarters Hospital in Dhaka.
