Cristal Meth worth Tk 22cr seized in Teknaf

Members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have seized a consignment of Crystal Meth or ‘Ice’ weighing over four kg during an operation at Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar.

Teknaf-2 BGB Battalion Deputy Commander Lt.  Muntasim Billah confirmed the news on Wednesday noon.

The market price of the recovered drug is about Tk 22,37,50,000, the BGB officer said.

Based on a tip-off, a BGB team raided the Jaliar island area. They found the Crystal Meth, weighing around 4.175 kg. They also recovered 50,000 yaba tablets.
