30km tailback on Dhaka-Tangail highway

Traffic congestion has been reported in the 30-kilometer area of the Dhaka-Tangail-Bangabandhu highway.

According to highway traffic authorities, the congestion has been caused by the repairing tasks there.

Badrul Huda, former manager of Bangladesh Cricket team said, we started our journey from Cumilla to Dhaka around 11:30am. But, still we are stuck on the way due to heavy traffic jam.

The Officer-in-charge of Moynamoti highway police station Belal Uddin Jahangir said the jam was created due to repairing tasks at the one lane of the highway. Our two team are working to ease the traffic jam situation.
