Two killed in Naogaon road crash

Two persons were killed in a road accident on Patnitala-Sapahar highway in Karamjai intersection on Friday (January 21).

The deceased were known as Faruk Hossain, 60, son of late Mayez Uddin, and Bulbuli Aktar, daughter of late Sakhawat Hossain.

Patnitola police station Sub-Inspector Shahinur Islam said, sand-laden a truck rammed an auto rickshaw in the area, leaving a woman dead on the spot and injured three others.

Later, the injured were sent to Patnitala upazila health complex where another died under treatment.
