5 more die with coronavirus-like symptoms at MMCH

Five more people died from coronavirus-like symptom while undergoing treatment at the Covid-19 unit of Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) in the past 24 hours.

Apart from that, 199 more people tested positive for the virus over the same period.

Dr Mohiuddin Khan Moon, focal person of the Covid unit, confirmed the news on Wednesday (January 26).

Meanwhile, a total of 78 patients including 8 at the ICU unit are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital. Of them, 44 tested positive for the virus.

Besides, 21 people were newly admitted to the Covid-19 unit. Among them, ten have recovered.
