Five former SUST students get bail

A Sylhet court granted bail to five former students of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) who were detained from Dhaka for donating financial assistance to the demonstrators.

Sylhet Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sumon Bhuiyan passed the order on Wednesday (January 26).

The former students are Habibur Rahman Khan, Reza Noor Muin, AFM Nazmus Sakib and Faisal Ahmed.

Of them, Nazmus Sakib tested positive. That’s why he was taken to corona unit of Shaheed Shamsuddin Hospital.

Sylhet Metropolitan Police Additional Deputy Commissioner (media) BM Ashraf Ullah confirmed the matter.
