Onion price increases by Tk 6

Onion price has increased by Tk 6 per kg at Hili Land Port in Dajanpur.

A kg of onion was found selling at Tk 28 in the wholesale market, which previous price was Tk 22. In the retail market, it is being sold at Tk 30. As a result, consumers are facing trouble. 

A consumer named Lutfor Rahman said, “Last week, I bought one kg onion at Tk 22, but today price is Tk 28”. 

Ferdous Rahman, a trader at Hili wholesale market, said onion price has increased suddenly due to unstable dollar market.
