Two international flights cancelled in Chattogram airport

Authorities of Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram have cancelled two international flights from Chattogram due to technical problem.

Flights of Fly Dubai Airways and Biman Bangladesh Airways heading to Dubai and to Muscat were cancelled on Thursday night.

Director of Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram Wing Commander Farhad Hossain confirmed the news.

The captains of the two flights realised that there were something inside the engines, and the flights were cancelled considering the safety of passengers, sources said.

A source said birds entered the engines that caused technical problem, he also said.
