Minor kid burnt to death in Gaibandha fire

A minor kid was burnt to death in a fire in Sundarganj upazila of Gaibandha.

The three-year child named Habiba Aktar, daughter of Nazmul Islam of the upazila, died on Friday (January 20) at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (SHNIBPS) while undergoing treatment there.

Earlier, Habiba Aktar was burnt in the fire that originated in a kitchen on Wednesday (January 18) afternoon.

The child was first taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital and then shifted to the SHNIBPS when her condition deteriorated. She died on Friday while undergoing treatment there.
