Man killed as two trucks collide in Gazipur

A young man was killed in a collision between two trucks in Rajendrapur of Gazipur on Saturday (January 28).

The accident took place on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway around 7:30 am.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Sub-Inspector (SI) of Gazipur Sadar Police Station Ariful Islam said a truck collided with another truck on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Rajendrapur area, leaving the man dead on the spot.

The body was sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, the SI said.

Legal action in this regard is under process, the police official added.
