36 Rohingya families shifted to Ukhiya from Tumbru border

36 Rohingya families, whose houses burnt down at the zero-line camp during a shootout at the Myanmar side of the Tumbru border, were taken to Cox's Bazar Ukhiya upazila on Sunday (February 5).
After completing several procedures, the Rohingyas were brought from the border area to Ghumdhum union parishad of Naikhongchhari upazila of Bandarban at around 8:30 am.
Muhammad Samsu Douza, additional commissioner of the state-run Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commission confirmed the matter.
Ghumdhum union parishad Chairman Jahangir Aziz said 180 Rohingyas of 36 families were sent to transit camp after completing their registration.
