New dates for postponed HSC exams fixed

Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has released the revised schedule for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations that were recently postponed due to various disruptions.

According to the new timetable, each postponed exam will now be held on separate, newly designated dates.

The exams for 22 July will be held on 17 August, and the exams for 24 July has been rescheduled on 19 August.

Due to the delays in holding written exams, the government has also pushed back the practical exam dates. The practical exams will be held between 21 August and 3 September instead of the previously announced timespan of 11-21 August.

The announcement came on Wednesday through an official notice signed by Professor S.M. Kamal Uddin Hayder, Convener of Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers' Committee and Controller of Examinations at Dhaka Education Board.

In response to severe flooding, exams under Cumilla Education Board that were postponed on July 10 will now be held on August 12.

Additionally, due to clashes in Gopalganj, the exam that was postponed on July 17 in that district alone has been rescheduled for August 14.
