This year’s JSC, PEC exams being canceled

This year's Primary Education Completion (PEC), Junior School Certificate (JSC) and equivalent exams are being cancelled due to the coronavirus situation.

Primary and Mass Education Ministry has taken the decision considering the present situation.

Senior Secretary of Primary and Mass Education Ministry Akram-Al-Hossain said "We held a meeting with secondary and higher education secretary and other top officials and we took the decision".

"We will send the proposals to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) for cancellation of this year's PEC, JSC and equivalent exams and after approval of Prime Minister's Office we will take the final decision", he also said.
