Education Secy Mahbub infected with Covid-19

Md Mahbub Hossain, Secretary of the Ministry of Secondary and Higher Education, has been diagnosed with coronavirus or Covid-19.

Mohammad Abul Khayer, information officer at the education ministry, confirmed the information on Thursday (Oct 8).

Mahbub Hossain tested positive for the virus on Wednesday (Oct 7) night. Since then, he is taking treatment from isolation at his residence in Dhaka, Abul Khayer said.
